MINISTRIES OF INTERNATIONAL PRAYER CHURCH (TRUST) AT ODISHA
Under International Prayer Church a separate Trust had been registered at Odisha and the registration number is Indian Act 1882 (2041 ix/2007) at Kalinga Vihar PO (K5) Bhubaneswar -19, Khurda, Odisha.
Under the above Trust following projects are functioning.
- Church Ministry
- Children Orphanage
- Prayer Tower
- Theological training college.
GENERAL FEATURES OF ODISHA
Odisha state is situated in the north eastern part of India surrounded by West Bengal, Chatthisgarh, Bihar, AP & MP. This state covered with hilly areas, low lying areas and thick forest areas. Per capita income of individual is very low. Many districts covered with illiterate tribal population and backward classes.
They are mostly dependant on the income earned through cultivation and agriculture products. Missionary work started many years back and many accepted Christianity. Ever since the missionary work due to the tireless work of the missionaries some of them started in Odisha the missionary activist and missionaries have sacrificed their life for the cause of Christian faith. Many times, communal violence have taken place in Odisha against Christianity during this tribulation. Even then God is doing miracles there and many are turning to Christianity in the middle of this tribulation.
CHURCH MINISTRY OF INPC AT Odisha
There were 54 churches and pastors to whom directly financially supported by INPC Head quarters, Kottarakara. Almost 120 pastors were there who were financially supported and some even without any support. The churches were mostly located in remote and hilly areas. Due to the communal violence, many pastors and believers were persecuted. Most of the churches were built as temporary makeshift sheds. These churches were functioning under the leadership of a Co-ordinator who was later promoted the State Center Pastor for Odisha with its HQ at Bhubaneswar. The Center Pastor was functioning as per the direction of the President, INPC (Trust) at Kottarakara, Kerala.
Monthly financial support to the pastors is being sent from INPC Trust HQ at Kottarakara.
A children’s orphanage was functioning under INPC Odisha where 22 orphan children were staying. Their food, accommodation and academic studies fully financed by INPC HQ.
Two prayer towers were functioning under INPC which was financially supported by INPC HQ. A Theological training college was functioning under INPC Odisha where more than 90 people graduated with C.th and B.th. At present, due to financial constraints, we have reduced the number of pastors here and also stopped the functioning of the Orphanage as well as the Theological training college.
We are planning and praying for the construction of a permanent building for Prayer Tower. It is proposed to start an online Bible School in Odisha under Universal Theological Seminary from the end of July 2025 where D.th and B.th programs are offered for the students.

- Construction of building for prayer Tower.
- Old age Home
- Bible College
- Academic School
- Music Team.
The ministry in Odisha is growing day by day under the leadership of Ps. Sunil Kumar Paricha who is the Center Pastor. At present, we are focusing mainly on ministry in the villages.
Important events at Odisha.
Many times, officials of INPC visited Odisha by teams led by the President, Trust Secretary and Administrator and conducted mega crusades, conventions, Pastors’ Conferences, Orphanage programs and Graduation programs. In the mega crusade at Odisha in 2016, more than 4000 people attended and many people accepted Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. Many demon possessed people got delivered and many miraculous healings also happened.
The INPC Trust President along with Trust officials are praying for the fulfilment of the proposed projects for which huge amount of finance is needed to accomplish the tasks.
